More than honoured to participate in Gallery Looks at the Gemäldegalerie. My wearable artworks are created from vintage and historic handcrafted techniques and enter into a dialogue with the Old Masters, echoing the painted art of their time.

The highlights are the fashion shoot that @ralphmecke took for the 20th anniversary of @achtungmode, the film by @florian.azar as well as the connection to the @gemaeldegalerie inspired @dior summer 26 show by @jonathan.anderson.

I warmly invite you to come and discover these beautiful parallels during Berlin Fashion Week and after.

The Swing by Jean‑Honoré Fragonard, once an 18th-century oil painting, later translated into an antique Gobelin tapestry , now reimagined as a one-of-a-kind mini dress.

A painting becomes textile.
Textile becomes silhouette.

Cut from a historic wall tapestry and reshaped into a contemporary form, the scene moves from wall to body, from decoration to presence.

Upcycling not as trend, but as couture transformation.
Preserving history while creating something entirely new.

Still in the making.
