Couture & Confessions – An Opera of Intrigues

Berlin Fashion Week is around the corner, and we are ready to serve magic: a fusion of couture, opera, and literature in the historic Alte Hörsaalruine.
Renowned actors bring the 18th-century French scandal novel “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” to life, accompanied by operatic soprano performances and DJ beats, while one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces crafted from vintage Gobelins and lace on the runway transform the space into an immersive, multi-sensory experience.

Each creation embodies memory, story, and soul, merging heritage craftsmanship with contemporary silhouettes.

We can’t wait to open our doors for this extraordinary @berlinfashionwe interplay of narrative, music, and fashion, where upcycling couture becomes storytelling.

Gallery Looks explores the encounter between Old Masters and contemporary fashion - across design, photography and film.

The exhibition brings together works created for the 10-year anniversary of @derberlinersalon at the Gemäldegalerie, results of the iconic shooting by @ralphmecke Mecke for @achtungmode and accompanied by a film by Florian Azar.

It also traces how Der Berliner Salon, summer 2025 at @gemaeldegalerie, inspired @jonathan.anderson Anderson for @dior Summer 2026, revealing a dialogue between historical painting and contemporary couture.

I am deeply honored to see @plaid_a_porter as one of four designers - alongside @anne_bernecker , @studio.karenjessen and @_a.gigl_, presenting work in direct dialogue with the paintings.

I feel deeply grateful and proud when strong, intelligent and beautiful women like Bayan don’t simply wear my work, but truly understand it.

Bayan, currently seen in the Face to Face – @germanfilms campaign, embodies the presence my designs are created for: intention, depth and impact.

Walking this path alongside women who share the same sensitivity, courage and vision means more to me than words can say.

I am excited to work with this talented actress right now on a very special project for me - a moment that will unfold during Berlin Fashion Week. Stay tuned🔥
