Some pieces are made to be worn. Others are made to be remembered.

Our THE ATELIER KNIT HALTER TOP (one size) began with a collection of delicate, hand-knitted trims - each one carefully crafted by my sister, loop by loop, with patience, intuition and love. At home, on the way to work, during breaks, in every free minute. In the Plaid-à-Porter atelier, these individual elements were meticulously draped and assembled by hand, transforming them into a sculptural silhouette that exists only once.

More than an unrepeatable piece, it carries a personal story: a garment shaped by family, craftsmanship and the invisible connections behind what we wear.

At Plaid-à-Porter, every creation starts with a question:
What story are you wearing today?

Because clothing is more than fabric.
It can hold memories, gestures, time — and the hands that created it.

I rarely go a day without wearing my LüSchwarz pearls — so continuing our dialogue was never really a decision. It was creative fate.

This time, antique hand-tatted lace meets baroque, Tahitian and South Sea pearls: transformed into sculptural couture headpieces, while signature pearl creations jewellery finds its place within couture crafted from vintage textiles.

Two Berlin ateliers. Two distinct languages.
One shared fascination with material, craft and the beauty of the unexpected.
